Gulf Tensions Escalate as US and Iran Launch Strikes Amid Stalled Ceasefire

The ongoing ceasefire between the United States and Iran has come under severe strain after a series of military exchanges. American troops targeted Iranian drones and radar installations, claiming that these posed a direct threat to shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles at US military bases in Kuwait and naval facilities in Bahrain, according to reports from Iran's state media. Initial evaluations by US Central Command revealed that out of seven missiles fired by Iran, six were successfully intercepted. This escalation follows recent violent incidents, including drone strikes that resulted in one fatality and numerous injuries at Kuwait's international airport.
